MIRE is a band I started with Ryan Glisan and Benton McKibben in 2016. We set out to create a stylistically unrestrained endeavor based on our mutual admiration of riff based songwriting, which I believe we achieved through our independently released debut record A New Found Rain.
Other Musical Projects and Endeavors
Though I’ve been a full-time, professional musician for over 15 years, my affinity and passion for guitar began 25 years ago. Its seemingly infinite capacity for expression struck a chord within me that resonates to this day. It is through this instrument and its application in heavy metal & rock music that I found my place in the world. I will forever hold a deep love for the craft of guitar playing and its creative/expressive potential.
